A simple guide to help you understand and navigate grief
This guide was created following my palliative care placement at Robina Hospital’s Specialist Palliative Care Service, through PEPA (Program of Experience in the Palliative Approach).
During this experience, I was reminded how important it is for individuals and families to not only feel grief, but to also gently understand it, especially in times of illness, loss and bereavement.
Moving Foward with Grief is a simple, practical guide to support individuals, families, communities, and health professionals in navigating grief not as something to “move on” from, but something we slowly learn to move forward with.
My intention is to offer a gentle space where grief can feel more understood and less overwhelming to help people feel less alone in their experience, and to support more open, compassionate conversations around loss and bereavement.
I kindly hope this guide brings a little calm to your heart and if it feels helpful, you are always welcome to reach out at hello@flyhome.com.au or gently share it with someone who may need it.
With love, Mari Bray
